First Year Application Menu

Applying to Georgetown University

Thank you for your interest in applying to Georgetown University. For important information about applying to Georgetown, we recommend that you download and review the Information for Candidates document. To receive full consideration by the admissions committee, you must follow the four steps listed below:

Step 1 - Submit the First Year Application for Admission (Part I)

If you have not already done so, please submit the First Year Application for Admission (Part I). You will not be required to create a password to complete this form. To access this form, please click here.

After submitting it, you will receive an email which will provide your Georgetown Identification Number. You will use this number to submit the remainder of your first year application. If you do not know your Georgetown Identification Number please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (202) 687-3600. Please do not resubmit the First Year Application for Admission (Part I) because it may confuse your application record in our system.

Step 2 - Create your Profile

Once you submit your First Year Application (Part I), you should Create Your Profile. Your profile will provide you with a login and password, which will enable you to save the remaining pieces of your application before submitting them.

Immediately after creating your profile, you should go to Step 3 to request the supporting documentation from your high school counselor and your recommending teacher.

Step 3 - Submit request for your Secondary School Report, Teacher's Report and Mid-year School Report from your high school

Please click the link below to request your Secondary School Report, Teacher's Report and Mid-year School Report from your High School. You will need the name and email address of both your high school counselor and recommending teacher to complete this request form. An email will be sent directly to them letting them know that you applied to Georgetown University and have asked them to complete these documents. These forms will need to be received by our office by the following deadlines.

  • First Year Secondary School Report - Deadline to submit: Nov. 1 for Early Action or Jan. 10 for Regular Decision
  • First Year Teacher's Report - Deadline to submit: Nov. 1 for Early Action or Jan. 10 for Regular Decision
  • First Year Mid-Year Report - Deadline to submit: Feb. 10 for Early Action and Regular Decision

Step 4 - Complete First Year Application for Admission (Part II)

After you have created your profile and requested that your supporting credentials be sent to Georgetown, please proceed to the link below to complete the First-Year Application for Admission - Part II. Please note that the deadline to submit this form is November 1, 2013 for Early Action candidates, and January 10, 2014 for Regular Decision candidates. You must complete the First Year Application (Part I) before submitting the Part II. Please see step one for instructions.
