The application process at Colorado Christian University is a personal one. Each applicant is assigned an admission counselor to work with throughout the application and enrollment process. Our admission process is selective. We seek students who have the potential to be successful academically and who want to grow spiritually. We will carefully consider your application, course selection, grades, ACT or SAT scores (if required), essays, and recommendations while making our decision.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Fall Regular Application:
Applications may be submitted any time after September 1. Applications for the Fall semester must be submitted by March 1 for priority consideration. The Admission Staff and Committee review complete applications on a rolling basis beginning November 1.

Fall Late Application: Any application submitted after March 1 will be considered a late application. We will continue to review applications until the first day of Fall classes as space allows.

Spring Semester and Summer Options: Applications for Spring semester and Summer sessions can be submitted until the first day of classes.

COMPLETING THE APPLICATION

  1. Please complete the application form. Be sure to complete each page of the application and acknowledge the Statement of Agreement. Submit the application online and other materials to the Office of Admission.
  2. Submit the $40 non-refundable application fee online via secure server. Your application for admission will not be processed until the application fee is received.
  3. Request official transcripts from your high school and/or any colleges attended. If you are currently enrolled, please request that a final transcript be mailed upon graduation or completion of coursework. Transfer students who have completed fewer than 30 semester hours of college coursework must also submit high school transcripts.
  4. Submit official ACT and/or SAT test scores. Applicants who have completed fewer than 30 semester hours of college coursework must submit official ACT or SAT scores.
  5. Request two recommendations using the forms included in this application. One must be completed by a pastor or youth worker and one by your high school counselor, a teacher, or professor. If you are not currently enrolled, please submit a spiritual reference and another personal reference. Recommendations should be mailed to the Office of Admission. CCU does not accept recommendations from family members.
  6. The dean of student life recommendation form is required for all transfer students. This recommendation should be mailed to the Office of Admission.

Special Instructions for International Students
International students are required to have transcripts evaluated by World Education Services. International students whose first language is not English must submit TOEFL scores. International students must demonstrate the ability to pay for at least one year of expenses.

Tuition Deposit
If you are admitted to Colorado Christian University and plan to enroll, you must submit a non-refundable $150 tuition deposit. For students applying under the Regular Application option, the tuition deposit is due by May 1, within 30 days of admission or before registration, whichever is earlier. Students admitted under the late application option or for spring or summer terms must submit the deposit within 30 days of admission or before registration, whichever is earlier.

Housing Deposit
A $150 housing deposit is required for students who plan to live in University housing. Admitted students will receive a housing application and contract. First year students (under 21 years of age) from outside the Denver Metro Area are required to live on campus. First year students from the Denver area may live on campus or with their parents.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Students interested in receiving financial assistance must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
