Applications are reviewed on the basis of high school courses taken, grade point average, test scores from either the ACT or SAT I, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and your high school counselor recommendation.

To be considered for admission, the Admissions Office must receive the following items:
|
- Completed Online Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship
- Official high school transcripts and grading scale (sent directly from your high school)
- Counselor Evaluation
- ACT or SAT 1 Scores
- $40 non-refundable application fee waived for on-line applications)
- Personal Statement (included in online application)
- Service, leadership, and activities information (for students who want to be considered for scholarship)

The Personal Statement provides an opportunity for you to present yourself in a way that your high school transcript, test scores, and letters of recommendation cannot. It is an opportunity for you to express your creativity and your own sense of who you are and who you want to become. You may choose any subject that interests you, however, we know some students may enjoy answering one of the following options as their personal statement:
|
- What is your definition of success? Give us a brief example of something you have accomplished that supports that definition.
- What are you short-term and long-term goals? How will attending Creighton University help you accomplish these goals?
- How would your best friend describe you?
|
|
Note: We suggest that you stay within a range of 150 to 400 words. If you submit this as a separate document, please include your name and social security number on each sheet of your statement.
