Ninety-five percent of the student body at Dordt College receives
financial aid, which includes scholarships, grants, loans and
work. These funds may come from federal and state governments,
Dordt College or outside sources. The only way to know if
you qualify is to apply for financial aid.
All United States students applying for financial aid must complete
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), as well
as the Dordt College Supplemental Data Form. Canadian students
must complete the Canadian Financial Aid Form. These forms are
available from the Dordt College Financial Aid Office or your
high school guidance counselor after January 1. They should be
filed after January 1, but no later than April 1, to be included
in the first round of financial aid awards.
Application for scholarships and grants based on superior academic
performance and potential should be filed by January 15. There
is no need to file the FAFSA in order to be considered for merit-based
scholarships.
Inquiries about financial aid should be directed to the Financial
Aid Office.
