ACT/SAT Scores
All new freshmen must complete the ACT assessment. Request that your scores be sent directly to the Office of Admissions by ACT. Scores from high school transcripts, personal records, and other sources do not constitute official results.

SAT scores may substitute for ACT. However, academic advising and course placement relies heavily on the ACT data available to your advisor. If possible provide ACT scores.

Citizenship/Immigration Status
If you are not a citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S., do not use this application. The international student application is available at www.ksu.edu/admit/app.html or contact the Office of Admissions for a paper application. Residency
Initial residency classification is determined by information you provide on the application. If you are living or attending school outside Kansas, if you recently moved to Kansas, or if you graduate from high school outside the state of Kansas, you may be classified as a nonresident for tuition purposes. It is the student's responsibility to provide any additional information that may be required to make an accurate residency determination. If you have questions about residency, please contact the Office of Admissions: kstate@k-state.edu or telephone, toll free in Kansas (800) 432-8270 or (785) 532-6250.

Locations
K-State offers courses on the Manhattan and Salina campuses. Distance education programs and courses are also available. See www.dce.ksu.edu or call 1-800-432-8222 for information about distance education. If you apply for financial assistance, you must be formally admitted to K-State.

Programs of Study
Health-related/professional degree programs
Some disciplines in the pre-health professions program (PHPP) require that students complete a bachelorĘs degree before seeking admission to professional schools. Because PHPP is not a degree-granting program, you must list PHPP and a major in another discipline if you want or need a degree from K-State. No specific major is preferred over another by professional schools, so choose a major that interests you.

Technology and aviation
Majors in the College of Technology and Aviation are offered only on the Salina campus. All other majors are offered on the Manhattan campus. You may complete some of your first-year courses for any major on either campus, but courses required for your major can only be pursued on the campus that offers it.
