TWO-PART APPLICATION
Linfield College has a two-part admission application. You may submit Part I
of the application at anytime (Part I does not require an application fee).
Upon receipt of Part I, Linfield will begin an application file specifically
for you and your indicated interests.
You should submit Part I regardless of how you plan to apply for admission to
Linfield (i.e. Common Application, on-line application). We will be waiting
for Part II application materials, as this will complete your admission
application to Linfield.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Applying to and choosing a college can be an exhilarating and challenging
process. At Linfield, we hope you will look upon it as one more step toward
achieving your goals.
Our Admission and Financial Aid Committee of the faculty reviews all
applications, selecting those students who show the greatest likelihood of
benefiting from and contributing to the Linfield community.
Students applying to Linfield can choose between Early Action and Regular
Decision. Early Action allows students to complete their college decision
early in their senior year. The fee for applying on-line at www.linfield.edu
is $20; the paper application fee is $40. Incoming students who are offered
admission are asked to reserve their place in the class by submitting a $400
matriculation fee by May 1.
Priority for admission, scholarships, financial aid and housing will be given
to students who meet the priority deadlines. Opportunities for enrollment for
applicants not meeting priority dates will be dependent on space availability
and financial aid funding.
