| APPLICATION PROCEDURE |
Please submit the following items to the Office of Admission:
- The application for admission form. For priority handling, the application
should be on file by April 15 for September entry, and November 1 for February
entry.
- A recent photograph (this is optional).
- Official or certified copies of your academic records from all secondary
schools and institutions of higher education which you have attended, and
official or certified copies of examination results. These must be in English,
and should explain the grading system in use.
- Evidence of English proficiency. We prefer to receive a TOEFL score report,
however a Cambridge test such as First Certificate in English or IELTS may
substitute. If English has been the language of instruction, SAT or ACT scores
may also be considered.
- Letter of recommendation. For a freshman applicant, this may be a school
report from the principal, counselor or teacher. For a transfer applicant, it
should be a letter of recommendation from a faculty member who has taught you.
- Notarized Financial Statement from your parent or other guarantor,
accompanied by an authorized bank statement certifying the amount of funds
available for each school year.
The Office of Admission will acknowledge receipt of your application, and will
notify you of items needed to complete your file. An admission decision will be
made when your file is complete.
Housing information and application are sent with the letter of acceptance.
Candidates who submit applications early and are accepted, and who submit an
advance deposit of $2,000 are given preference in housing assignment and
registration for classes.
A Certificate of Eligibility I-20 is issued after receipt of the enrollment deposit.
