General Information and Instructions
When submitting your application, there is a $50.00 application fee for domestic applicants and a $150 application fee for international students for the MFT program.
Send an official transcript(s) to Admissions from each college or university previously attended regardless of whether or not a degree was earned. All official transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to Mercer University School of Medicine.
For electronic transcripts, send to recipient Mercer University School of Medicine Admissions Office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: You may need to create a new recipient - if you do not use this email, we will not receive your transcript.
For regular mail, send to Mercer University School of Medicine Admissions, 1501 Mercer University Dr, Macon, GA 31207. (For FedEx or UPS deliveries, please use this address: Mercer University School of Medicine Admissions, 1550 College St, Macon, GA 31207).
The submission of GRE scores is optional. If you choose to submit scores, official test results should also be submitted to the university through ETS using the institutional code of 5409 and department code of 0000.
Complete at least a 750 word essay on the subject of your educational, career, and life goals as part of the online application.
Submit three (3) letters of reference that speak to your aptitude and potential as a marriage and family therapist. These can be from any of the following catagories: college professor, professional mentor/supervisor/employer, therapist in the community. These letters should be sent directly from the letter writers, either through the application system or emailed to email@example.com.
For International Students Only: Once your application is received and reviewed, you may be required to provide additional documentation to complete your application.
