Scholarships. If you plan to attend one of Ohio University's five regional campuses, scholarships are available to both freshman and upperclass students who qualify based on a blend of merit- and need-based criteria. Freshman students are automatically considered for scholarships upon applying to a regional campus. For upperclass scholarships, enrolled students should complete the online scholarship application: www.ohio.edu/financialaid/types/scholarships.cfm#Regional
Need-based Aid. Financial need is demonstrated by the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Complete the 2018–2019 FAFSA online (fafsa.gov) beginning October 1, 2017, using 2016 tax data. Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA using the appropriate regional campus federal school code. The FAFSA first priority consideration date for federal and institutional aid programs is January 15. If you already submitted the FAFSA for another institution, you should request that your results be sent to Ohio University's Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, as financial aid does not automatically transfer from one institution to another.
