Admission InformationSeaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences offers the Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Science, and Master of Divinity degree in several disciplines. The student seeking admission to a graduate program at Seaver College is expected to have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution prior to the time of graduate matriculation. Only those students who show substantial promise of successfully completing the graduate course of study for which they apply are offered admission. In reviewing a candidate for admission, the applicant's academic record, general test scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), and other relevant data are considered. Applications are evaluated only after all the necessary documents have been received by the Office of Seaver Graduate Programs. A decision will not be granted until the admission file is complete. It is the applicant's responsibility to be certain that all the necessary materials are received by the appropriate office by the application deadline. The application period opens October 1st for each academic year. It is best to apply well in advance of the initial term for which the applicant plans to enroll. Completed files will be processed and evaluated by the Graduate Admission Committee. Full consideration cannot be assured to applicants who fail to meet the application deadlines. International Students: Please note that you are considered an international student if you are a citizen of a foreign country and do not hold the permanent resident visa (green card) in the United States. Please submit official TOEFL scores and an International Student Data form to the office of Seaver Graduate Programs along with your application materials. We cannot make an admission decision without these items. |
