Physician Assistant Studies Program Admission Options

The integration of Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University, two historically innovative academic institutions, creates a distinctive comprehensive national university that also establishes a new standard for interprofessional and transdisciplinary learning, and collaborative discovery across disciplines. For 2017-18, this application is for students applying to Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) - East Falls Campus.

The below options are designed for applicants who are in their senior year of high school or high school graduates who have earned no more than 16 college credits. The postmark deadline for Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies (Freshmen Only-Fall Only) - 5-year Accelerated B.S./M.S. - Assured Admission Option applicants is December 15th.

Option 1:

Option 2:

Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies (Freshmen Only)
4+2 B.S./M.S. - Preferred Admission Option

Application Deadline: (Spring) Rolling    (Fall) March 1

Requirements:

  • Letter of recommendation
  • $40 Application Fee
  • Physician Assistant Specific Essay: Please submit an essay of at least 250 words discussing your motivation for wanting to be a Physician Assistant (PA) and attributes you have that make you well suited for the PA profession. Limit to one page.
