Physician Assistant Studies Program Admission Options

The below options are designed for applicants who are in their senior year of high school or high school graduates who have earned no more than 16 college credits. The postmark deadline for Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies (Freshmen Only-Fall Only) - 5-year Accelerated B.S./M.S. - Assured Admission Option applicants is December 15th.

Option 1:

Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies (Freshmen Only - Fall Only)
5-year Accelerated B.S./M.S. - Assured Admission Option

Option 2:

Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies (Freshmen Only)
4+2 B.S./M.S. - Preferred Admission Option

Application Deadlines:

Fall Entry
  • Early Action Deadline (non-binding): November 1
  • Regular Decision Deadline: March 1. Freshmen Applications that arrive after March 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis pending space availability and at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
Spring Entry
  • Regular Decision Deadline: December 1. Applications arriving after December 1st will be reviewed on a rolling basis pending space availability and at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

  • SAT/ACT Scores
  • Official High School Transcripts
  • Letter of recommendation
  • $40 Application Fee
  • Physician Assistant Specific Essay: Discuss your motivation for pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant and detail the attributes you possess that make you well suited for the profession. (250 word minimum)
