School of Healthcare Administration & Leadership

School of Healthcare Administration and Leadership (HAL) provides academic programming that supports the individual professional growth needed to develop highly-trained healthcare leaders. The school was created in spring 2013 to incorporate the following professional programs already in existence within the College of Health Professions: PhD in Education and Leadership, Bachelor of Health Science and Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.

The accuracy, completeness, and neatness of your application are determining factors in our admission decision. The Admissions Committee will not evaluate an incomplete application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions cycle and students will be admitted until the cohort is full.

Application Notes

  1. Please complete the online application to the best of your ability. The information you provide will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. It is important that the information is accurate, honest and professional.
  2. A non-refundable application fee of $25 is due at the time of application. You may request a Fee Waiver during the payment process of the online application.
  3. You will need to submit sealed Official Transcripts from every institution you have received credit. Mail all transcripts to the address below to complete your application. An application will not be considered complete nor will it be reviewed prior to receiving all transcripts.
  4. A final official transcript of any course(s) in progress will be required, including graduation verification, if applicable, before an admitted student will be permitted to begin the program.
  5. You will need to submit two letters of recommendation. These can be written by a supervisor, instructor, employer, etc. You may mail or email the letters to the addresses below.
  6. You will need to upload an up-to-date resume.
  7. Communication will primarily be via email. Please make sure to check junk/spam folders for important communications from our office. If you'd like to add us to your Safe Email lists, our email domain is "@pacificu.edu".
