The Wasatch Academy Admission Process

The admission process at Wasatch Academy allows the candidate and the school to develop clear appraisals of each other. It is just as important that a candidate be thoroughly acquainted with Wasatch Academy's programs, faculty, philosophy and campus, as it is for the Admission Committee to be thoroughly aware of the academic and personal attributes of each student.

The Admission Committee evaluates each candidate's academic record, recommendation forms, medical record and characteristics that a student would contribute to the Wasatch community. An interview in person, or by phone where distance is a factor, is required. Wasatch Academy encourages candidates and their family to schedule visits/interviews with the Admission Office from Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Meeting members of the community and observing classes and students will assist the candidate to gain a clear perspective of the school and its programs.

The Application Process

Admission to Wasatch Academy is both selective and competitive. Please complete and submit your materials prior to your visit.

• Application Form (include payment of application fee:
  $50 USD domestic/$100 USD international
• Parent's Questionnaire
• Student's Questionnaire
• Academic Records (transcripts)
• Recommendations (Principal, English, Mathematics and personal)
• Interview/Campus visit (Call to arrange 1-435-462-1410)
• Results of Standardized or Educational Testing
• English as a Second Language Testing (TOEFL, SLEP)
• Financial Aid Documents (if necessary)

The Wasatch Academy Admission Committee will make a recommendation regarding admission when all materials requested have been received.
