Admission Credentials
Following is a list of credentials you must file to be eligible for consideration for admission. You are responsible for making sure your credentials are complete by the application deadline.
  • Form 1.   Application for Admission
    Complete Form 1 as soon as you are sure of your interest. The application form must be accompanied by a $50 nonrefundable application fee submitted via secure server. If you have unusual financial need, you may submit a letter signed by your counselor, requesting the fee be waived.


  • Form 2.   Student Information and Student Essays
    Complete the descriptive student information and two essays and submit the form online.


  • Form 2A.   School Recommendation (PDF)*
    Print this form, fill in your name, attach a stamped/preaddressed envelope, and give it to to your high school counselor. Your counselor should complete both sides and return the form to us.


  • Form 2B.   Teacher Recommendation: Math or Science (PDF*)
    Print this form, fill in your name, attach a stamped/preaddressed envelope, and give it to one of your mathematics, biology, chemistry, or physics teachers.


  • Form 2C.   Teacher Recommendation: English, History, or Foreign Language (PDF)*
    Print this form, fill in your name, attach a stamped/preaddressed envelope, and give it to an English, history or foreign language teacher.


  • Official Transcript of Your High School Record to Date
    Please send one transcript immediately, and follow with a copy of your mid-year grades as soon as they become available. Also send an official transcript and course description of any college work you have completed.


  • First-term Grades Submit an official transcript including grades from the first term of the academic year as soon as they are available.


  • College Board Scholastic Assessment Tests
    1. SAT Exam (including writing component)
    2. An official score report from the College Board is required to complete your application. SAT Exam scores appearing on the high school transcript will NOT be accepted in lieu of an official score report.
    3. SAT Subject Exams
    4. Two SAT Subject Exams are required: Math 2, and a second one of your choice. Students who apply Early Decision may submit scores from tests taken as late as November.

IMPORTANT:

It is your responsibility to see that all of your credentials and materials are received by the Offices of Admission and Financial Aid by the appropriate deadlines.

In compliance with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, the annual Campus Security Report is available in the Admission Office. This report contains a description of the campus security climate and includes measures in place to protect the college community.
